The location was very nice, yet the reservation that promised a double bed was not honored and we received two single beds instead.
“Nuit gâchée par des moucherons...”
The room décor and bed comfort were great, and the lunch at the star‑rated restaurant was enjoyable. Yet a swarm of midges and other insects entered the room when the blinds were closed, and they were impossible to remove because dozens were stuck to the ceiling and the light fixtures; the night was far from peaceful, a risk of staying in a rural establishment.
“Formidable”
The cuisine, the establishment, and the staff were all excellent.
The hotel offered excellent value for money, and the restaurant is worth a visit.
“Belle étape gastronomique dans région magnifique”
Breakfast was superb and the fine‑dining restaurant was magnificent.
