The location is great. Unfortunately, it isn’t listed on Booking, and La Rambla has been under construction for two years, so you can’t drive to the hotel; you’re left about 100 meters away, which means walking with a suitcase and stroller, and that’s even more difficult if you have kids.

The staff were friendly and the location is perfect, just a short walk from the metro station.

The spot is usually great, but La Ramblas is under construction now, making the area noisy and messy right outside the hotel. Taxis won’t enter the zone and often cancel, so plan for that before you book. The foyer is tiny and always jammed with large groups, so moving in and out is a hassle. Some staff were helpful, others weren’t. I was annoyed that construction was still active when we arrived, even though I’d gotten two emails saying it was finished. I wouldn’t have chosen this place if I’d known. Room‑service was outsourced, took forever, and the food was inedible when it finally arrived.

The service was excellent, but the only downside is that they charge extra for taxi service because they have to give the hotel a percentage, as the taxi driver told me.
