The check‑in was done through a machine, and the bar unfortunately closed on weekends. Breakfast was fine, constantly refilled, and the staff were friendly and quick. It’s close to Messe Hamburg, the bed was okay at 160 cm, but the pillows weren’t great. Having two more pillows in the closet would have helped. The rooms were the right size, well equipped and clean. The only downsides were the pillows and the bar being closed.

This wasn’t my first stay at this hotel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast left no room for improvement. The check‑in, which was only by machine, was annoying: I had to enter my name, address, and all the data for my companion multiple times, raising privacy concerns. By the time the machine finished, a lot of time had passed. Imagine what happens when a tour group arrives. In the evening, when I returned, several guests were at the machine, and the staff had to assist them. These things take away the fun of the stay.
