Only two sockets per room forced us to constantly plug and unplug to charge phones, use the kettle, and watch TV. The beds were too soft, with springs visible in the mattresses. We stayed at the other property, assuming the main one was fully booked, and walked a 5‑minute distance to borrow a hair dryer, believing the properties were adjacent.

Parking was convenient and the location to Sefton Park was excellent. Unfortunately, the room had a strong musty odor and the mattress was poor, making it just acceptable for a single night.

The location and staff were good, especially considering how rushed they seemed. We had to go to the main hotel for check‑in, which was chaotic: the lobby and bar were packed with people waiting, and only two hurried staff were available. We eventually checked in, but the delay caused us to miss the event we came for. The suites smelled very stale, the stairs appeared unvacuumed, and the ceiling in our room had a crack.
