How clean the rooms were, comfortable bed, quality of the coffee provided. Friendliness of the staff. Everything was what I expected

The owner/manager was really good, very helpful, really nice guy. The breakfast was both perfect and generous, worth every penny - thoroughly recommended. The hotel is a 200 year old late Georgian era big house in largely original condition, couldn't help myself from wishing the walls could talk to me . I found it interesting to observe the house layout and imagine how it was used when it was built and throughout the Victorian era. Comfortable room, everything met my expectations. Nothing disappointed me . maybe a bit of history about the house would have been nice but that's really reaching
