We loved everything—exactly what we expected: authenticity, calm, aesthetics, kindness, comfort, and a delicious, hearty breakfast…the best! The only downside was the stay being too short; we’ll return because the area within 25 km offers so many interesting visits (Saint Emilion, great suggestion Marie‑Ange, thank you!).

The property is authentic, surrounded by nature and silence, with great potential but would benefit from more care and attention; the owners are friendly. However, it’s overly isolated—over 5 km to find a decent bar or restaurant, the exterior is neglected and messy, and the large room has a poorly ventilated bathroom without screens.

The welcome was fantastic and the stay was excellent—little touches, a comfortable room, a superb breakfast, and a perfect location for exploring the region; I highly recommend it.
