“Ok to sleep but not a place we wanted to spend much time in”
Parking was a plus and walking to the old town was easy. The Scottish music night with a photo slideshow was great, but it only happened on one‑third of our nights. The bathroom was not in the bedroom but across the hall, something we didn’t know when booking. The décor felt old and tired, towels were almost threadbare. Breakfast was disappointing—continental was fine, but there was only cereal and toast, no bread rolls, croissants, or cold meats. Our room was downstairs, very dark, and the window offered no view.
