I got a small room on the busy street, warm but no AC. The kitchen was fresh and the shared bathroom and shower on the basement floor were acceptable. Because the occupancy was low, I could have been upgraded to a quiet, cool room facing the garden, but that opportunity was not taken. The owner had the chance to exceed expectations, but didn’t.
