The Hotel Carmina am See is nestled beside a lake in a historic park in Karnin, 18 km from Stralsund. Cosy rooms with TVs and private bathrooms offer lake views. A romantic lake terrace restaurant/café and buffet breakfast are available. Surrounded by Mecklenburg countryside walking and cycling paths, it's 20 minutes from Rügen island and 25 minutes from Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula.

Everyone on the staff was very friendly and charming, especially toward our baby even though he was often crying and making a mess. They even offered a private car shuttle to the train station because we couldn’t walk anymore. The food from the chef and the breakfast were also top‑class, all for a small price.

We were greeted very warmly and could move into our room right away. It’s very quiet, so we could relax well. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options for every taste. We were greeted very kindly when we entered for breakfast. The Wi‑L‑an was barely available.

The atmosphere felt like a family; breakfast was served personally at the table and was plenty. The dinner was personally recommended by the head chef and matched the recommendations. The view from the room looked out onto the adjacent lake. Unfortunately, the hotel was a bit off the beaten path.
