Good value for money and great location. The room was small but acceptable for a short stay.

“Se parece mais a um Airbnb/Hostel!”

The location was pretty good, with plenty of shops nearby (though the other side of Sarmiento seemed safer). The bathroom was quite large (even bigger than the room itself!). The curtains worked automatically via remote control (I liked that, and I knew my room would be at the back) – I didn't use the air conditioner because the days were cold (the bedding was comfortable). The deposit issue was uncomfortable (a $100 guarantee, which in my case was more expensive than the stay itself – not usual for my regular stays). It also caused a loss because I paid by card and the credit took days to process, and I was already in Brazil! There was no coffee (a known fact) – but the partner café and others in the area open at 07:30, so I went out for a walk at 07:00 without coffee, before the café opened. The photos made the facilities look excellent/brand new, but small adjustments were needed (USB sockets at the bedside didn't work, for example), the cabinets were slightly peeling, and there was no daily cleaning or towel change. Hot shower water was limited (acceptable given the city's water emergency), but this information is only known once you're staying (I felt a slight lack of transparency).
