The room was spotless and cozy, and the shower was very good. It’s well‑located in the centre of Portree. However, the building feels tired and public areas need some TLC. The continental breakfast buffet was disappointing, offering almost nothing beyond packet cereals. Finding parking is a nightmare because the town is so busy.

The location is excellent, but the hotel looks a bit dated and could use some upgrades. Our room was very large and nice. The decor is old and the view overlooks a parking lot.

The location was great, the rooms were cheap and cheerful and did the job. The real highlight was the restaurant—food was incredible and the staff were very friendly.

The location had every facility I needed in the room. As an older person, I didn’t realize my room was on the 3rd floor with many stairs to climb; I would not have booked if I had known. Breakfast was disappointing and not good value—I got a small amount of yogurt, a few defrosted berries with granola, which didn’t compare to a full English breakfast. I couldn’t find a staff member when checking out.
