We booked the hotel solely to store our luggage and shower before our night train; for that purpose it was very suitable.
“Cheap but only really suitable for a few hours”
The property sits across the road from the station, making it convenient for a few hours of rest while waiting for a train, but the photos in the listing do not match the room you actually stay in; it may have looked like that 30 years ago but not now.

The hotel sits right beside the train station, so we could shower and change before heading out. The TV offered YouTube, where we found a Bluey channel that kept the kids busy. The room itself was sparse and the area around the hotel had little to do. The floors were very dirty and the shower was cold. There wasn’t much to see or do nearby, but it worked as a place to stash our luggage while we got ready for the train.

We were catching a midnight train and needed a place to leave our bags, shower, and rest; the early room check‑in, clean and fairly spacious room, and decent bathroom made it perfect for our needs, though the proximity to the station means you can hear announcements.
