We took a family trip with 10 people from Porto Velho to Cusco and found this great place, excellent value, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was very good, we were well attended and I would definitely stay again. I recommend it to everyone.

The room was spacious and clean. The accommodation price was in dollars, and they gave us the amount in soles far above the official exchange rate and what other places were using. When we asked, they couldn't tell us which rate they were applying, only that the price in soles was that amount, without explaining the situation. I felt cheated, since they used a rate of about 3.70 while other places were using 3.42. Also, they message that they are only 100 m from the train station, but there is no access from the side where the accommodation is located. You have to go around the town and walk about 45 min to get there, passing a small trail through some rocks in a stream. They give no indication of this, we had to ask local residents for directions. Even though there is always someone at the lodge, even if you inform the arrival time there is never anyone at reception, if you don’t have internet to say you’re there in front there is no one waiting, even if you say you’ll arrive in 10 min. We told they would arrive shortly, they saw our messages but no one was waiting. We had to find an open Wi‑Fi signal to send a message and wait for someone to open the door. A bell would solve this problem.

They were very kind and attentive from the moment we arrived. The hotel is very far from the town. You have to take a minivan or a tuctuc for 20 soles to reach the station. It’s on the other side of the train tracks and the access is closed, so you have to go around and walking it’s very far (almost 1 h).

The room is very beautiful and well equipped. The bathroom is very beautiful and very spacious. The bed is very comfortable. Immaculate cleanliness. The staff is very kind and very helpful. Excellent value for money. Nothing else.

A very nice and cozy place with a beautiful mountain view and the relaxing sound of the river. Super friendly staff who even showed me around the mountains. Absolutely loved staying there. The walk into town is also really beautiful and definitely worth the few extra minutes.
