I was really impressed with how clean and tidy my room was - it was spotless.
The location is great too, close to everything but not too noisy.
The staff at this hotel were absolutely brilliant - friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.
And the food? Wow, it was delicious! I had some of the best meals of my trip here.

“Wouldn’t recommend at all”
The staff were helpful with what they had, but the toilet stank, the bedside lamp had no bulb, and I had to take it downstairs; a staff member tried to find a replacement bulb but failed, and I eventually received a rather dirty lamp. The room’s location on the main road, with two electronic devices right outside the window that kept operating all night, ruined my sleep, compounded by the toilet’s odor—overall a very disappointing stay.
We stayed the night before and found it convenient to return the next day, and I can’t think of any negatives.

The rooms were newly built to a good standard, with coffee and tea facilities in the room and private access that kept me from bar noise in the evenings. I felt the Inn was still a work in progress: the carpark area and reception needed finishing, but the rooms were mostly fine. My bathroom was basic and clean but lacked finishing touches like towel holders or a rail. The Inn was a bit further from town centre than I expected, but I walked down to the river with my daughter, which took about 15‑20 minutes.

Parking is available and there's a pub with a restaurant attached to the property. The rooms are fairly spacious and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small and could use a little touch‑up. When we arrived, they told us that that very evening a DJ party would be held in one of the pub rooms below our room, and the music might go on until 12:30 am. They handed us earplugs as a way to sleep.
