Eltham Hill Stay

The place was very neat and situated in a calm neighbourhood.

“Dececionante :(”

The location was good and the TV had Netflix, check‑in was simple. The place was very dirty… the bath rug was so filthy, the bathtub floor was black with grime, and we had to scrub it ourselves with wipes just to get into the shower! The sink drain was badly clogged… The towels and bed weren’t fresh (they seemed to have been washed a while ago, so they weren’t scented).

“Didn’t stay”

Nothing positive. The room was dirty, as if it had only been vacuumed and the bed made; no bedding had been changed or anything. There was ridiculous noise from two children outside kicking a ball at the wall our headboard leaned against. I called the owners to complain, said we were in room 3, they said there is no room 3 even though we were clearly in room 3. Don’t stay here. I lasted five minutes.

“Very good option in Eltham”

The location was good for the event I travelled for. The bed was comfortable. Wi‑Fi was good and the TV had all the major streaming apps (personal login required). The bathroom was decent and clean. It was very close to a bus stop that gave direct links to Woolwich and Woolwich Arsenal stations, so overall the city connections were very good. The area was quiet and I felt very safe and secure. The rug had some awful‑looking stains and the duvet cover was torn, so the room’s cleanliness was a bit lacking. Bring bottled water because it’s impossible to fill the kettle or water bottles from the tap due to the angle.
