The hosts were hospitable and kind, the breakfast was excellent with Marie‑Odile’s homemade jam, and the place had a fairy‑tale vibe! Only downside: few restaurants nearby.
The house itself is a work of art, and Marie‑Odile and Marc are perfect hosts! Breakfast is prepared with care, and the spa corner feels like a pause in the “One Thousand and One Nights” universe. We stayed in the wonderful “blanche” room. Walking on foot you can reach the sea via a small dirt path. Everything was perfect. Thanks again to the hosts for sharing their home with us.
A simple "chambre d'hôtes" just isn't enough for this tiny paradise tucked among lush greenery yet only about 1.5 km from the coast, a direct walk away. We were welcomed with great warmth, treated to an extraordinary, hearty breakfast in the winter garden, and during the day we could brew tea or coffee in the kitchen. The whole house is lovingly and charmingly decorated by Marie Odile with her own and other artworks. Nothing negative to mention.
“Besser kam man es nicht treffen!”
The property sits idyllically in a small forested area surrounded by lush greenery. Everywhere you see lovingly tended plants and tasteful details, and you instantly feel the heart the hosts pour into this special place. Breakfast is served in a beautiful winter garden full of green plants, with an excellent selection of freshly prepared fruit, exotic varieties, homemade jams, various cheeses, bread, rolls, croissants, and more delights. Everything is fresh, appetizing, and lovingly prepared. Our room was very cozy and tastefully furnished. The exceptionally large, Italian‑style bathroom was especially impressive; the walk‑in shower is huge—at least 1.5 × 1.5 m—providing real comfort. We felt completely at ease and warmly welcomed. A truly special accommodation we recommend without reservation. Heartfelt thanks to the lovely hosts who go to great lengths to make guests feel that they are the top priority. Kind regards, Guy Samson

The reception was friendly, but the shower fixtures were rusted, the washbasin tap was limescale‑covered, the towels were old and tangled, the bed blanket was unmade and had use marks, the side table was dusty, there were hairs on the under‑bed cover, the wardrobe door wouldn’t close, and the room door handle was loose.
