Location, breakfast, staff, rooms, e‑car charging, wellness, etc. Unfortunately there is no a la carte restaurant with regional dishes, though that’s fine because the town offers a wide range of restaurants.

Large room with air conditioning and a balcony with a nice view. The underground parking was spacious, finally with enough large spots even for an SUV, and I had a fixed reservation during my stay, so no hunting around when I came back from outings. Definitely book in advance; outdoor spots are usually full. Good food with HP at a fair price. The hotel is on the edge of town with no locals, shops are close by but you know that beforehand. There is a ring bus with a stop right in front of the door, free with a guest pass every 30 minutes. Everything else was fine.

We stayed in a room with a panoramic view and a walk‑in wardrobe, and breakfast was tasty with everything we wanted; the omelette was always freshly made to order. We didn’t use dinner. The bathroom in our room needs renovation: the bathtub is actually a shower, the toilet is a squat toilet, the sink couldn’t close properly, and the tiles were already noticeably cracked. Outside, the balcony chairs were worn out, and even the seating area at the entrance was sagging.

I booked the accommodation for my mother and she was very satisfied; it’s a short walk to the center and a bit farther to nature walks. The food is good and the staff pleasant.

I chose a hotel with a restaurant because I liked being able to drop by anytime, but here I learned that you can only enter after registering. The staff were not very friendly when we were turned away, and the only food available was by order, even though the restaurant is supported by the hotel’s occupancy. The room rate was relatively high, so I expected the freedom to dine there, but the heat made me reluctant to go to a central restaurant. On the bright side, we could still have lunch or dinner at the Hotel Adler in the city center. We were never told that the Alpenhof‑run restaurant only allowed meals after registration, so my personal needs weren’t met.
