The family was genuinely friendly and you could actually watch them milking cows, giving a real farm‑life feel. The beds were comfy and the setup was very straightforward, though I’d have liked hooks in the room.

The area is very atmospheric. The rooms were clean and the heating worked well. The showers are outside, which might not matter in summer but in October it becomes unpleasant. The breakfast was rather small, especially considering the price of 35 GEL.

Clean and practical lodging on the second floor of a local family’s house. Highly recommended for exploring the beautiful village of Ushguli. It’s a 10‑minute walk from the center of Ushguli, but the stroll is pleasant.

The stay was comfortable and clean—Babi & Tata spoke excellent English and shared a lot about life in and the history of Ushguli and Svaneti! We liked having a menu to choose from for dinner and breakfast, so we could try different things affordably and everything was delicious! The only downside was a huge dog chained on the property that barked quite aggressively at guests coming and going.

I liked the location. Very exotic place to stay. The balcony offered the most beautiful views. The shower opened directly onto the balcony, and in the morning it was +5. The room had four beds and a chair, but there was nowhere to hang clothes.
