“Perfect blend of nostalgic feel with updated amenities.”

The downtown location was ideal for walking and exploring, and the room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We dined at the pub that evening; my husband had pork schnitzel and I had Yorkshire pudding, both were excellent! We’d definitely stay again if we’re in Okotoks. (As an unexpected bonus, an art festival was happening downtown that weekend, so we could explore it in the morning before checking out. If we had stayed elsewhere, we probably wouldn’t have known there was something going on downtown.) When we arrived, we weren’t sure which door to use for check‑in because there isn’t a dedicated lobby with a front desk like at a large hotel. We asked a waitress who helped us with check‑in, and everything went smoothly after that.

“Cozy and quiet room. Would stay here again.”

Location, friendliness of staff, easy parking. The shower. Once I got the temperature adjusted, it would be good for 30 seconds one minute max, then it would either scald me or freeze me. Maybe this was due to somebody flushing the toilet in another room?

“Unexpected surprise…very positive experience!”

It’s an understated place I wouldn’t normally consider, but inside it’s SUPER NICE. The restaurant is beautiful and very busy—in a good way! The exterior looks a bit run down, but they’re renovating it.
