Hotel University

The place is spotless and the staff are friendly and helpful in every way; I’d definitely return to the same hotel, and its location is great—everything is within walking distance.

“Comodo, vicino al centro storico”

I had a pleasant stay; the room was spacious and very comfortable, and because I was traveling alone I booked a double, which was fine; the bed was very comfy, the bathroom was roomy with a window, and I appreciated the complimentary breakfast; being close to the centre meant I could wander around Bologna without any transport. I forgot to ask for a low pillow, which wasn’t available in the room.

“Great location, good value.”

The room was roomy and had all the essentials, including a fridge, and the breakfast outdid us with a lovely array of pastries and cakes; the spot is fantastic, right next to the old centre with its charming streets and food shops, plus great restaurants nearby, and we could drop off our luggage after check‑out; the view was nonexistent but that didn’t bother us. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location is good, close to attractions and very near Osteria dell'Orsa; the train station can be walked to (or about 12 euros by taxi to Centrale); the room was quite comfortable with a smart TV, clean, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was modest compared to similar experiences, even in Italy; the bathroom needs renovation—very narrow, cheap materials, a window that couldn’t be used, and the light fixture at the room entrance was non‑functional.

The location was perfect, the staff were lovely, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. I liked everything.
