The country pub was nice, the staff were friendly, the food was good, and the chef was very accommodating with the gluten‑free and dairy‑free options we needed, but the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable; we only had one pillow each and didn’t discover the extras until before we left, so we got very little sleep.
