It’s a fabulous hotel – truly grand and very posh. I didn’t expect a soaking tub instead of an enclosed shower, but I’m fine with that; someone who prefers a regular shower should request it. My friend had both a shower and a tub. The restaurant was great, and we enjoyed dinner there and the buffet breakfast, which was worth the extra charge. Absolutely nothing to criticize; it’s elegant, old‑fashioned in a good way, and has modern amenities.

I was annoyed that we had to pay a deposit of over €60 for the minibar or “damages caused,” something I had never experienced before; it really expressed a lack of trust toward guests.

True luxury. The breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate, and a deposit had to be paid in advance for the minibar.
