The rural vibe and location were appealing, yet the lack of any stove really limited what I could cook.
“Lovely place”
We stayed for just one night; the place was tidy and the shared bathroom and dining area were well equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, big table, and dishes, it was very quiet, and it was very close to Goðafoss Waterfall.
The house was in the middle of nowhere, yet perfectly positioned for the route we were taking; the quadruple room was spacious, the shared bathroom was huge and very clean, and the common dining area was comfortable and also very tidy. Everything was fine.
“We enjoyed our stay here, and had a friendly cat greet us as we arrived.”
The setting was peaceful, the room offered plenty of space, and both the room and shared areas stayed clean, though it was a bit hot and that disturbed my sleep.
Clean, warm, welcoming, and well organized, but there was no sink in the kitchen, which was handled nicely by the staff.
