The serene ambiance that surrounded me, particularly the room situated near the ancient grape trees.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

I recently stayed at Anchor Guesthouse, and my experience was fairly average, not quite meeting my expectations. The bedroom was decent, but the bathroom fell short, feeling stuffy due to the lack of a window and in need of a thorough clean. The overall space seemed tired and could greatly benefit from some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint.

The room had a pretty unpleasant smell, and to make matters worse, I spotted some cockroaches scurrying around. The beds were also ridiculously hard, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. To add insult to injury, the complimentary tea, coffee, and creamer were packaged in a flimsy plastic bag that looked like it belonged in a convenience store.
