The room was spotless. The sink outside the bathroom was handy so guests could use both at once without getting in each other’s way. The towels felt thick and high‑quality, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hostess was lovely and friendly, going out of her way to meet all our breakfast needs. We couldn’t lower the room temperature even after trying the thermostat and following the provided instructions, so it felt a bit warm during the night. A small fridge would have been useful, especially for those with dietary restrictions who need to keep particular items; using the kitchen fridge felt awkward. A small fridge doesn’t have to match the historic aesthetic, but it would help travelers.
