There was air conditioning, the room was close to the sights, and the manager was very kind. The neighborhood was very unsafe (homeless, drug users, street harassment); I didn’t feel safe every time I walked to the room. I thought it was the same all over Naples, but it’s especially the area around the station. It would also be good to note that the private Green room is in an apartment, so to get to the Green room you pass through the kitchen and the corridor where other guests’ rooms are, so you could run into them. Clearly it wasn’t pleasant for two women to be in an apartment with two unknown men. Even a small noise made us tense. The stairs were very steep and tiring. Cleanliness was generally fine, though I found a hair in the bed. The check‑in procedure was very demanding; the manager gave us so much information about the process that I was a bit confused, but once it was done it was easy. They also added taxes that I wasn’t told about directly (about 5 euros for online check‑in).

“It was very comfortable and enjoyable. Close to the train station. Dangerous location.”

The room had air conditioning, a TV, a fridge, and a fully equipped kitchen, and the staff were very friendly. The location was rough, and we didn’t feel safe walking around after dark.

Before booking, read this: the place itself was fine except for the missing elevator, which we knew about, and the room wasn’t properly ventilated, but that didn’t bother us. The host was responsive, so I’d rate it 8‑9. The location, however, was unsafe, dirty, and smelled like human waste. I booked because it seemed to be in the historic center, a normally nice spot, and we stayed only three nights. It was close to attractions, so we thought we could walk, but the area turned out to be unsafe, and we learned the hard way. Men gave us out‑of‑place compliments, and a strange neighbor showed unwanted attention. The apartment next to ours was always loud with the TV on all night. The worst part: on our way to the bus to the airport in the morning, we were physically attacked by three guys and robbed. I’ll never return to this city. If you must go, stay elsewhere. Vomero seemed nice and normal.

The room was cozy and clean. The kitchen area had cutlery and everything needed if you want to cook something.
