“Nice location basic accommodation”

The location is good. The room is maze‑like and hard to find, and breakfast hours are too short.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed and bedding were comfortable, and there was hanging space and drawers. The signage was appalling; there was no indication of stairs or lift except for a small sign once you found them. We entered Heron House from the reception and only saw tiny notices about ground‑floor rooms (we were on the first floor). A floor map and ceiling‑mounted signs for stairs would help. The bedroom carpet could use a shampoo.

“Okay for a night.”

Bed was okay. There was 1 towel between my partner and me, when asked for more so we could go swim and just have another towel I was given a small floor matt. Rooms was very run down and the building looked like it had school children living there, graffiti and damage throughout especially in the elevator

“Great Location with Leisure Facilities!”

The location is lovely, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to reach anywhere in Milton Keynes. The leisure facilities are a welcome bonus! The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was adequate. I’ll book again this year.

“Fine for a conference, not for leisure”

Beds felt comfortable and the room was cleaned every day; the staff were friendly and helpful. The tap water in the bathrooms was either scalding or freezing, with the shower temperature cycling roughly every minute between a brief hot burst and a cold snap before stabilizing. Breakfast was decent—nothing spectacular, but there was a solid mix of hot and cold options. The bar was pricey but well stocked.
