“Beautiful place with big communication problem”
The location inside the medina is great, but the address on the website and the one the owner gave was vague, so we had to get directions from three local men who spotted us wandering near the other riads. The place is clean and has a lovely patio with plants; every room has its own bathroom and the kitchen is fully equipped. Getting in touch with the owner through the booking platform was tough—she replied slowly and left some questions unanswered. A lady, probably a cleaner, was waiting on site; she just opened the door for us and then went back to cooking, offering no explanation or introduction. She couldn't communicate in any language; we tried French, Spanish, English, and Arabic via Google Translate, but she didn’t understand. She keeps her own keys and shows up to clean without warning—sometimes she was there when we returned, sometimes not. In our bathroom the drainage was problematic and the main light in the room was broken. The Wi‑Fi was terrible; it was connected but very slow. We ordered breakfast once: Moroccan pancakes with jam and mint tea loaded with sugar—too sweet and no savory options. The person preparing breakfast also couldn’t speak any language, and we spent 15 minutes explaining the payment method to her.
“Precioso sitio”
The place is beautiful and very pleasant. It’s clean and quiet. When we arrived, there were issues with the reservation—no one was expecting us and the phone number from the app didn’t answer—so we had to wait an hour for a neighbor to help us get the key. Some rooms are very small.
“Exceptionnel”
The riad’s beauty, the meticulous finishes, the layout of the rooms, the bathroom and toilet in each room, and the quietness make it perfect for relaxing. Nothing negative.
“Déception”
The location is good. The staff doesn't speak any French, which makes communication impossible. The interior feels cold.
“Muy bien excepto encontrar la ubicación del hotel”
The location and facilities were very good. We found it very difficult to locate.
