The room decor was lovely and the location was great, but the room was quite small for what we paid, and the fire alarm was jammed with tissue.
“The TINIEST room ever! Not worth the money. Uncomfortable and frustrating stay.”
We had a terrible stay in the Palmerston room; it was the smallest room I've seen, half of it was inaccessible because it was under the roof, there was no closet so we had to leave luggage on the floor, and with only one chair, one of us had to sit on the floor; the bathroom was too small to leave a towel, the sink looked like a doll‑house fixture, and when I asked for a light blanket I only received a plain sheet—though the location and the West End were good, the value for money was awful.
I felt it was a scam, advertised as a boutique hotel but the three rooms we booked were the bare minimum. You can't move, no space between the bed and the walls. There is no room to open suitcases, no wardrobe. The bathroom is very well designed—how can you fit a bathroom in 1,5 square metres? A real achievement. The view is a narrow alley where garbage bins and a parked van are. There is no reception to complain to. The price is abusive for what is offered.
Everything was perfect.
“Too expensive for what you get”
The room was very clean, but it was tiny and the shower cabinet was minuscule, and the stairs were very steep.
