The staff were friendly, the historic feel and character added charm, and the quiet spot was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. The room décor was dated, and there was no fresh fruit at breakfast.

Bedroom was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Breakfast room was very cold. When we returned to the pub at 1020 on saturday night the place was shut and in total darkness. Breakfast service was a bit haphazard
