Elegant entryway, foyer, restaurant, and lounge. Bar service was exemplary and the lounge ambiance must be seen to believe; a true immersion in the natural beauty of Japan's wine country!

The hotel covered every essential element very well. Inside, there were two high‑quality restaurants—French and Chinese—whose food and atmosphere were superb. The staff were also outstanding. We were disappointed that the sweets shop opened at 11 am, but the reception staff offered us a selection of baked goods from their inventory, which we could take as souvenirs. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet; you chose between Western or Japanese cuisine, and hot dishes were brought out. The only drawback was the short operating hours of the large bath: it was only available from 14 to 22 hours, so it couldn’t be used in the morning. We tried to enjoy dinner slowly until 21 hours, but ended up giving up because it was too rushed. It was disappointing that the spacious bath was so limited.

The lobby and overall atmosphere were beautiful, and the onsen was good, but the rooms felt too small.
