“Relaxing traditional stay with a wonderful private onsen”

The stay at 桂の泉 was truly wonderful and relaxing; the staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming throughout, and my room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The onsen was a definite highlight—private reservations let me have the entire bath to myself, making the experience especially peaceful and luxurious. I also loved the traditional Japanese breakfast each morning, beautifully presented and a lovely part of the ryokan experience. The building feels a bit older, but that actually added to its charm and gave the property a more authentic, traditional Japanese atmosphere. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

“ゆっくりできた”

The staff were very homey, the breakfast was generous and tasty, and the onsen allowed for a relaxed soak. The room was clean and spacious enough. The onsen could be reserved for private use, which made it even more relaxing. However, there isn’t a dinner‑included plan even though the area isn’t packed with restaurants like a hot‑spring town; it would be nice to have nearby restaurant recommendations or local guides for each room. The information board on the first floor was helpful, but having it only there was inconvenient. The pillow height didn’t suit me, so it would be better to provide a few spare pillows or a selection of different pillow types.
