The staff were fantastic. The food was good and plentiful. The property is a little out of the way but they run a shuttle. I had a room above the kitchen, which was noisy until about 11 p.m. Even so it’s a quiet location and I got plenty of sleep.

A staff member was exceptionally kind and helpful, which we really appreciated. The hotel sits over a mile from Portomarín, yet it offers a convenient shuttle that picks guests up from town before 6 p.m. and returns them between 7 and 9 a.m. There’s also an on‑site restaurant, so eating is easy. The rooms are relatively small and somewhat dated. Our biggest issue was the bedding and towels; they were clean but had a musty smell that made them feel less than fresh.

The manager was very, very friendly and they pick you up wherever you are. The bathroom has a bathtub!
