“Very impressed with property and amenities”
The place looked exactly like the photos – private, spotless and exactly what was promised. The only real downside was the swarm of red ants that made the pool unusable and a morning of bugs on the kitchen counter. It’s clearly a jungle setting, not a cleanliness issue, but the insects were a major annoyance.

The rainforest location is absolutely stunning and worth the trip. Communication from the host was practically non‑existent – we arrived clueless about where to go and only got check‑in details after we had already found the place.
“Gorgeous place absolutely terrible check in and stressful payment situation”
The nest itself is beautifully designed, clean and comfortable, but getting there was a nightmare. We had no clue which unit was ours, the PIN code in the email was wrong, Wi‑Fi info was missing, and we spent ages hunting down the caretaker for help. On top of that, we were bombarded with urgent PayPal payment requests we weren’t warned about, and breakfast was at a separate location with no directions, leaving us feeling unsafe and frustrated.

Tucked deep in the woods the silence was a treat and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Unfortunately the cottage was a magnet for mosquitoes and the road leading up to it was steep, unpaved and hard to navigate.
A truly pretty and unique spot hidden in the forest, perfect for anyone looking for something different. The only hitch is that it feels a bit off‑the‑grid, making it harder to reach than expected.
