“Péssima qualidade!”
The daytime location works, but at night it feels too dangerous. My stay was awful: the breakfast was barely more than salty bread, ham, cheese, coffee, milk, watermelon, and banana. The ham and cheese slices were cut into four pieces and placed on a tray, which felt like a lack of common sense, care, and respect for guests – an extreme stingy approach. The hotel advertises breakfast, but given the limited variety and poor quality, it hardly qualifies. Guests with dietary restrictions would struggle because almost no alternatives exist. The facilities were also disappointing: the AC didn’t work properly and was deafeningly loud, the furniture was old and worn, the TV was broken, and the linens were dirty or barely washed. Security was questionable too: the room door had no proper lock from the outside, only a key to turn the knob. At about 2:30 am someone knocked on my door, making me feel uneasy and unsafe. The location is convenient, but the area needs caution at night. I visit Rio often and have stayed in many downtown hotels; I’m not picky, but cleanliness, security, and basic functionality are essential. Among all Rio hotels I’ve stayed in, this one was by far the worst.
