“Served its purpose - easy access”

We stayed for the NRL grand final, walked easily into Accor stadium, and found the property to be the best value for money around town during the peak event; a good café (Mattina) was down the street, the train station across the road was handy, and it was a short 20‑minute drive from the airport. The staff were helpful and let us check in early when the room was ready. The shared bathrooms weren’t very clean, the toilet was cramped, there was only one key, and the beds were not great. It served its purpose for our trip, and we would stay there again given the price of competitors and the specific event, but it isn’t my first choice for a holiday.

The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and tidy, the price was great, the location was excellent for getting to Olympic Park, and the staff were very friendly; we enjoyed our stay.

The room was comfy and the downstairs bar made grabbing a bite or drink a breeze, especially thanks to Zoey who runs the bar in the evenings and is absolutely amazing. The downside was that some bathroom showers lacked a shelf or spot for toiletries.

“If pub noise doesn’t bother you, you’ll have a pleasant stay :)”

Hotel Concord turned out to be lovely, with tasty food at the pub and great staff. The bed was comfortable, linens clean, and the bathroom was tidy—though that depends on how many people share it and how clean they are. Unfortunately, it got pretty loud, with chatter, laughter, and music going on until about 10:30pm (sometimes later) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights—so I wouldn’t stay there on a Friday or Saturday night. My ceiling fan was broken, but a pedestal fan kept me cool since I couldn’t open the window. That wasn’t too bad, but the noise was the main reason I wouldn’t return. Maybe my room, 9, was just above the sports bar or something.

“Good location, roaches in hotel room though”

The location was great, right next to the train station, and the staff were friendly. However, there were multiple cockroaches in the bathroom, and the listing advertised an iron in the facilities but there wasn’t one, nor could the staff find one.
