“ひとのあたたかみを感じる宿泊だった。”

The room wasn’t especially large and there weren’t many extra amenities, yet it was clean, the fridge handy, and the location near Osaka Station provided all the basic necessities for a stay; the receptionist’s warm demeanor, the comfortable western‑style bed, and the fact that (by appointment and for men only) the bathtub was usable added value beyond the price in my view. On the downside, shoes are not allowed inside, so I had to carry them into the room, which was a bit inconvenient, and the walls are thin, prompting staff to ask us to keep TV volume and calls low; still, those quirks feel minor compared with the price.

“OMOTENASHI S2”

The staff were extremely friendly, and even though I barely spoke English and only knew a few Japanese words we managed to communicate just fine; it was the first hotel I stayed at after arriving in Japan and it was perfect. The men‑only bathtub, called an ofurô, was the best I’d found in my 23‑day trip, and the metro and laundry are less than a minute away. Osaka is amazing—thanks a lot, Hotel Lucky! Nothing negative to mention.

The bedbugs in the hotel! Seriously run away. On top of that, they won’t refund. I found a bedbug in the duvet and luckily I was able to wash everything at over 60 °C in the laundromat next to the hotel at 1 a.m.! I spent the night outside the hotel, waiting for sunrise before leaving. It was the most frightening night of my stay, and it feels like the hotel takes things lightly.

Cheap and close to the station. The toilet smelled bad; please use a deodorizer or clean it. It smelled like urine.
