Murrayshall Country Estate

The room was nice and we slept well. The dinner in the dining room was disappointing – the food was bland and the menu options were inflexible, which seemed odd. The casual restaurant might have been better. Breakfast was fine.

“Locely rural setting amazing rooms”

The place is great because of its location, and everything else was fine.

“Nice clean country house hotel in a quiet location”

I loved staying in that charming old country house hotel, and there was nothing I could complain about.

“Hotel needs to engage in a refresh. Setting and building is lovely but time to freshen the old girl up.”

The location was beautiful. The bathroom was old and needed an update: cracked tiles and grout, a leaking shower faucet, no toilet paper holder so the paper got wet from the shower, and the fan didn’t work, so the whole room steamed up.

“Magnifique bâtisse historique aménagée avec tout le confort moderne sur une belle propriété arboré”

A beautiful historic building tastefully converted on a lovely property. The staff were adorable. Plenty of walks and activities nearby. The rooms were very nice with excellent bedding. The breakfast was delicious.
