The atmosphere was calm and historic, the welcome was warm, the spa was great, and the outdoor pool was nice; the breakfast buffet was generous and the crêpes were tasty. I’m just looking for something else.

The vibe, the facilities, and the well‑equipped room with minibar, kitchenette, dining area and beautiful view were all great, and the staff were friendly, but there was no hot water in the shower.

The building itself is charmingly old and the room was very comfortable, with staff who were friendly and helpful. The spa feels a bit overhyped, and while the pool is lovely, the sauna and hot tub aren’t as hot as one might hope.
