The location is superb and the staff were friendly; the room was clean. However, going up the back stairs to enter in the evening was hard because there wasn’t much light.

I got a decent deal for a budget stay, and the staff were very friendly. The location was spot on, just a stone's throw from Marine Parade, the sea front, and the park. However, accessing the room at night required using an unlit fire escape in the back yard, past the bins, and that escape definitely needs lights. The back door is usually unlocked, so you have to rely on your room door lock for security.

It’s room above a pub, nice spacious rooms and close enough to everything. The jacuzzi bath didn’t work and lots of steps
