The spot is gorgeous – quiet with amazing views, the cabin was sensitively restored, the kitchen is fully equipped, there’s a library and board games, and the terrace seating is lovely.
“Very Clean with Excellent Hosts”
Chalupa Semafor sits above a stunning valley, away from the main road. Our host, Hans, drove us in a comfy truck equipped with tire chains to reach the site through the snow. After a rest, the next morning we enjoyed a great breakfast before Hans took us to the ski area base in a Snowcat. After a day of heavy snow and good skiing, we left the following day. Because of the snowy conditions, another Snowcat ride brought us to the parking area where we parked our car. Covered in about 18" of snow, Hans helped us shovel it out and waited until we cleared the car and exited the lot. The accommodation was very clean and the hosts were high‑quality; we truly appreciated our stay in Mala Upa! Nothing to complain about.

The lodging is comfortable, the cabin has been renovated, and it’s in a beautiful spot. From the terrace you get a lovely valley view. The staff are kind. Nothing else.
The rooms are compact but the beds feel cozy. If you dislike crowds, this place suits you. The shared kitchen is spacious and well supplied, complete with a dining area, and you can also rent a sauna. The house sits on a hill, offering a pleasant view.
