The space was very comfortable and clean. The owners’ service was exceptional; Luigi and Franco are warm people who recommended delicious local restaurants. We stayed just one night and would definitely choose them again.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Brettia Guest Rooms in Cosenza, thanks to its great location in a safe area. Host Luigi greeted us warmly and kept in touch through WhatsApp, pointing out plenty of free parking within a block and showing us exactly where to park. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and featured modern, stylish décor and furnishings that felt brand new. The bathroom was roomy with a lovely shower, and the little balcony offered a view of the street. A fridge in the room came stocked with free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was superb, offering a range of items including amazing homemade cakes, pies, and cookies from Luigi’s mother, who was also a delight to meet. The breakfast room housed an espresso machine, a fridge filled with bottled water, juices, milks, sliced meats, and cheeses, and was open 24/7. The only downside was a slight street noise in the morning, which didn’t bother us.

A quiet bed‑and‑breakfast accessed via a small private road, not prominently sign‑posted, but Luigi reached out before we arrived and made finding it a breeze. With only a few rooms, each is spacious and comfortable, featuring a well‑stocked fridge. Everything looked newly decorated and spotless. The breakfast room was similarly well‑stocked, offering a quantity of homemade cakes that could rival a patisserie. A short walk takes you to shops and the historic centre of Cosenza, with a good selection of nearby restaurants. Luigi and his father Franco were helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. Across the road is a small restaurant open at lunch, serving freshly cooked food for the price of a pint and a packet of crisps—worth knowing. I definitely want to stay here again.
