Vivian was exceptionally friendly and considerate of each guest. The facilities were warm, very clean, and felt private. Parking and locating the hotel were no problem. Our main requirement was a safe, affordable spot to stay with our toddler, and this exceeded our expectations.

The spot is unbeatable, right next to the Redwood forest on a quiet, safe street, and the shared lounge/dining area with breakfast is lovely. Vivian, the host, is super friendly and helpful, and the room was neat and tidy with a full private ensuite.

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The warmth and wisdom of our hostess was very special. She helped us organise our limited time in Rotorua perfectly. Breakfast was great. The living room where we eat breakfast needs better lighting, say a standard lamp so that we could read at night
