Very friendly hosts, a small cozy hotel with an adequate buffet and restaurant. Heated pool. The location is somewhat remote behind an industrial building, but it’s a great starting point for the beaches and trips to Chania.

The location in the region was great, giving quick and easy access to the lovely beaches and convenient spots for shopping or a bakery run. The place itself wasn’t very pretty, and the hotel sits right behind a factory. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms developed a musty smell during the day, and after cleaning there were hairs on the bed that weren’t ours, plus a lingering cigarette smell. The cleaning was thorough but the rooms on the ground floor were quite dark, though the other rooms seemed worse and we were lucky. When we opened the windows, a strong cat‑urine odor hit the windowsill, which was unpleasant. We stayed in October, so it rained often, which made the outdoor dining area less useful. We were the only guests with half‑board, so the kitchen had to open just for us and offered very little vegetarian options. The breakfast was filthy; it arrived only when all the tables were full, forcing us to eat in our room. Moldy fruit appeared and there were only toast pieces at breakfast. Still, everyone tried hard.

“Leider sehr unfreundliches Personal”

This hotel was the biggest disappointment of our entire Crete trip. The young man who worked there during our stay was very unprofessional and unfriendly. The location and parking are adventurous, but that would have been acceptable to us. The rooms are so drafty that we could hear every conversation from the pool, and the whole night was filled with extremely loud dogs. The room had, among other things, a coffee machine but no coffee. This is just one of many examples of how the facilities here work. Our room seemed cold and not well designed. If the staff had been nice and professional, many aspects of our stay would have changed. The employee still has a lot to learn to work in service. I have never before been glad to check out of a hotel.
