“This hotel exceeded our (very high) expectations”
The hotel is absolutely stunning from every angle, and the meticulous design and individual styling of each room add undeniable charm and luxury to La Santa Rosa. When we arrived, we wandered the grounds in awe of how beautiful and romantic everything felt—it’s a truly unique and special place. Our room’s size, design, and comfort far surpassed our expectations; it was quiet, luxurious, and well-appointed. Four staff members stood out as exceptional—professional, helpful, and warm to the point that leaving after nearly a week felt like saying goodbye to family. They consistently went above and beyond, building trust and rapport, and were funny, lovely, and engaging, adding so much to our stay. Together, these elements made this the best hotel experience my partner and I have ever had. I hesitate to give a lower rating because we truly loved the stay and can’t wait to return. The location is currently challenging; development nearby is ongoing, but I expect it to improve. During our week-long stay, we wanted to explore other parts of Uluwatu, but at times Grab or Gojek wouldn’t pick us up. The staff were very helpful in arranging a scooter for us so we could get around.
