Breakfasts and dinners prepared by the chefs were outstanding—definitely worth eating there—and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside was that the bathroom looked a little worn out but still worked fine.

Both the continental and Sri Lankan breakfasts were very good, and the staff were very helpful arranging tuk tuks and a city tour.

Our stay at Montana Rest was very pleasant. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but it was clean and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the staff; they were wonderfully kind and immediately ready to take us to sights and help with everything. That’s why our stay felt even better.

A very friendly owner who is happy to help with anything. The location is great and approachable, and the price‑quality ratio is unbeatable. The rooms are basic but the beds are good and there’s a decent air‑con and even a fan. The only drawback is that the shower has a somewhat weak spray.
