I liked the location, the easy access, the room, and the motel owners who were charming. The price was a bit high, but Miami is expensive overall, so it was worth it.

Located in Miami's historic Mimo District, the King Motel Miami is a 10-minute drive from Miami Beach and city centre. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, microwaves, and refrigerators. Traditional guest rooms offer cable TV, free local calling, and hairdryers. Ironing facilities are available upon request. Miami International Airport is 15 minutes away, and the Art Deco District of South Beach is 10 miles from the property.

Nothing positive. The room smelled, although it was clean; an upgrade would have helped.

The location was convenient and checking in was simple. Around 9 am, while I was trying to sleep, the staff kept turning the leaf blower on and off, making a lot of noise instead of waiting for guests to wake up; the generator or water heater (not sure which) was humming right next to my room, so I couldn't get any more sleep.

The staff were lively and gave us the room key right away, yet the room meant for four people felt cramped, lacked a proper kitchen and only had a tiny fridge and a microwave with no utensils; moreover, despite booking for four, only two beds were actually provided.

The location was good, close to a park, bus stop, café, and a large supermarket. Unfortunately there was no kettle in the room, but the host kindly gave us a thermos of hot water when we asked; there was also no shower gel.
