“Beautiful, quiet homestay within walking distance of the beach!”

I had a wonderful stay with Dev and his family. He was extremely kind upon arrival, always checking in on me, giving suggestions for places to visit, and showing me his lovely property. The house sits on a quiet side street about a 7‑8 minute walk from the main road. The family offers bikes and scooters for rent and provides meals for guests at a great price. The A/C works extremely well and the house has everything you need for a restful, rejuvenating escape from the busy streets and cities. I highly recommend it! The only regret is not ordering food from the family, which looked very good and convenient.

“Peace and quiet yet walking distance to the beach.”

The property is tucked away from the main road and nightlife, so it’s noticeably quieter. The meals are tasty and the garden is lovely, and the owners are always on hand to help. I did feel, however, that they were pushing a Yala safari and downplaying other national parks, suggesting a business motive.

“A good stay for couples outside the center”

Vish and his helpfulness were the highlight of my stay; he can answer any question and assist with anything you need, and I’m grateful for his kindness. The garden is really pretty, and you can sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy all the greenery. As a solo traveler, I thought this property wasn’t the best fit for me because it’s more isolated, offering no chance to mingle with other guests. I also found the prices a bit high for one person, especially since the room isn’t central and doesn’t include AC. It would be ideal for couples in terms of cost, vibe, and location.

“Nice and calm stay 🙏🏼🌴☀️”

A really nice stay in Midigama; it’s peaceful and calm with very kind owners. If you have a scooter or tuk‑tuk it would be perfect; otherwise, walking is a bit but manageable.
