I appreciated that the hotel could be accessed at 14h, but the room was very old, with a beam 1 m above the head of the bed, a shower without curtain or wall, and the third floor had no elevator. The breakfast was very light for 12 €.

U Palazzu is an extraordinary hotel in the mountains of Corsica near Corte; by chance our booked apartment had a water damage, so we found this hotel at short notice in the evening, and it turned out to be a gem of bygone charm with extremely friendly staff and owners. The local construction style, the parking, and a nearby recommended eatery were all nice, and we had a sufficient breakfast. Megan was always helpful with tips for our hikes and recommendations.
