The host was friendly and let me start unpacking 40 minutes before check‑in, which was a nice touch. But the room was supposed to have its own bathroom and it didn't – the bathroom was outside, no water in the sink, and the shower was either scalding or freezing. There was a strong dog and mold smell, a thin mattress under a second bed, a kitchen without a working fridge or drinking water, and the pool was neglected.

The place had solid facilities and the staff were on time, and the price was reasonable. However, it felt like an empty house – probably because it was low season – and both the room and bathroom had a strong mold odor that bothered my allergies. The rest of the space was tidy and organized.

I stayed here again and loved it – it's close to everything and the service is fantastic. The only gripe is the outlets in the room are in bad shape, but everything else is great.

The pool and barbecue were great, and Alan was a friendly host. The ceiling fans were a bit of a nuisance.
